Flu Shots
Starting in early December and lasting well through March, flu season is always right around the corner. The contagious respiratory illness affects everyone differently. In some, the flu may last only three days to a week, yet others may suffer with more serious complications such as bacterial pneumonia, dehydration, and the aggravation of chronic medical conditions, including: diabetes, asthma, and heart disease. X-Rays
If you need an x-ray, you will be attended to by a skilled, licensed x-ray
technician who is well-trained in the many radiographic positioning techniques.
Our rapid automatic processor will produce your "picture" within minutes.
Your x-ray will be reviewed by an experienced doctor and treatment options,
if needed, will be discussed. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions
because we are here to help you.
Laboratory
Our
Laboratory has all the equipment necessary to perform such basic studies
as Rapid Strep (sore throat caused by the bacteria Streptococcus) and
Mono (a viral disease called mononucleosis) Testing, Urine Analysis and
Urine Pregnancy tests, Cholesterol levels, and Complete Blood Counts.
We also commonly collect blood, urine, wound, and venereal samples that
are sent directly to local labs for analysis. In most cases, we will be
able to notify you of those results within 5 business days either by phone
or discretely in our office at your convenience (again, no appointment
necessary). We can then either initiate treatment, refer you to the appropriate
specialist, or have you follow up with your primary physician.
Miscellaneous Testing
We are also equipped with:
• Audiogram (a machine for hearing tests)
• Spirometry (for Lung Functions Tests)
• Vision Screening (including color and night blindness screening)
• EKG
• Doppler (a machine to evaluate Peripheral Vascular Diseases and fetal
heart sounds)

• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• DaTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis [whooping cough]) for children
